Description
Vegreville Emergency Services is seeking qualified, energetic individuals to work with our EMS team as Casual Paramedics. Casuals are called in on an as required basis for 24 hour shift rotations. This involves base hours and time on standby. These individuals will become respected members of our effective working team, dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life in our community and as such will serve the public with courtesy and respect.
Qualifications: - Registered with Alberta College of Paramedics - Completion of Alberta Health online and hands-on MCP training - Current CPR, ITLS, PEPP, PALS and ACLS certifications - Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team - Leadership skills, initiative, and enthusiasm necessary - Good verbal and written communication skills - Valid Class 4 (current driver's abstract required) - Current Criminal Record check is required (including vulnerable sector).
