Description
Alberta Health and Safety Training Institute is looking for strong candidates to join our Instructional Team as a full time EMR Instructor in Calgary. Candidate will need to be able to travel to Red Deer and other areas of Alberta as needed for programs. Candidate will primarily teach EMR but will be assigned other programs as certification allow. Candidate will required to work daytime, evenings and weekends as needed.
Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with our EMS team.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. ACP registered EMR (5 years minimum) or EMT (2 years minimum) with field experience
2. Red Cross First Aid Instructor or equivalent
3. Proven experience in customer relations and customer service
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
5. Ability to work independently and under direct supervision
6. Ability to apply problem solving skills and perform critical thinking
